Jumpstart your career and become a valuable part of the automotive electronics industry with one of the Hottest New Certification Training Programs available! MECP (Mobile Electronics Certified Professional Training) is now being offered by Ivy Tech Community College, Region 6.
This exciting new training program will prepare students to take the national standard MECP exam to certify and validate their skills in the field of automotive electronics. Using state of the art training equipment students will study charging & electrical systems, wiring, audio and video installation, security systems, alarms, remote starters, heating & air, troubleshooting techniques and more!
This program will offer 150 hours of instructor based training, text and workbook, practice tests CD, hands-on training, basic tools, and one certification test voucher.
The WorkOne office in Mooresville will be offering this certification program for youth ages 19-21, who meet program eligibility guidelines. The class is scheduled to start on August 27, 2007 and class size is limited. Call 317-834-3907 for additional information or registration information.
